Asymptotes

Asymptotes are lines or curves that could get closer and closer to the axis but they can NEVER coincide.

Putek. Naranasan niyo na ba maging asymptotes? You'll get closer to each other, YET, hindi kayo pwede magsama. Amp. Bakit ba kasi hanggang dito hinahabol ako ng math. Yan tuloy narelate ko sarili ko sa asymptotes.

The Divine Comedy

Last night (after midnight), I was reading some articles on Wikipedia. I always have this habit of clicking links and more links from one page to another, so I ended up spending 2 hours there. It was this Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri that drew my attention. If you don't wanna end up like me reading the summarized story for hours, I'll just briefly describe what is it. It's actually a really old piece of literature work in Italian, claimed as one of the greatest works of world literature ever. It's about a man traveling through hell, gaining knowledge of the afterlife and stuffs like like, eventually communicating with god.

trumpo? hindi ah. impyerno yan.

There was this part of the poem that referenced to the seven deadly sins, which was also one I'm deeply interested in. Such things about human nature really interests me, I wonder why. I often let my thoughts wander about, like what's gonna happen when I die. Maybe there's this truth about afterlife that nobody really expected it to be, like no other we have always referenced to. Perhaps we don't even know we died by then, or we could be in another living dimension. If one is gonna say "hey, let me try dying to check out the afterlife", fcuk it, because in our realm, we believe that once you're dead, you're dead. Science proved it, as people cited. But I am still curious cause even though scientific stuffs are generally true to an extent we can't deny, I still can't accept the concept completely.

First impressions.

Last Friday, I was supposed to go home early because I have to finish my Oh-so-many-plates that our Oh-so-inconsiderate professors gave us. But this Org, (UPCLAS) told us to come to the L.A. General Assembly. Oh well. It was a General Assembly, but it was also an applicants orientation...

Hahaha. Ayun, sobrang dami naming ginawa. Merong activity na maglalagay ka ng papel sa likod tapos hahayaan mo ung ibang tao na sulatan yun. Kaya ayun, ang ganda naman ng first impressions nila. >,< Naflatter ako nang onti. Hehehe.

As You Like It

Plenty of kissing scenes, topless bodies and intense male to male interaction. No this is not a porn review. This is DUPs As You Like It. Like so many Comm3 students I was forced to watch this play, and to tell the truth I am not fond of watching romantic films, plays, shows, etc, et. al. But as it turns out the play was great! I specially liked the lead actors, they were made to play the parts of Rosalind and Orlando. To the sound director of the play, I congratulate you, the choice of music and rendition (violin) was exceptional. I love the violin version of Dance, Dance (Fall Out Boy) and Yellow (Coldplay). The start of the play would give you the impression that you would be watching a looooooooooong and draaaaaaaaging three hour drama, but the directors added subtle comic relief making the play bearable. The only problem is the old english style of speech which is sooooo Shakespearean, was a little over the top. But after an hour of listening to it, you'll get used to it.

I prithee that thou shall read thy blog and try to catch the moving beauty of thy play.

Haha. Bukas nga pala, manunuod na kami sa Araneta ng UAAP Cheering competition. Huwaw. ^_^
